Have you ever read about a one-of-a-kind Mustang or watched a video of one in action and wished you could own it? Sometimes these cars are preserved for posterity. Other times they are auctioned to the highest bidder. What if you could simply win a 700-horsepower Mustang created by Roush Performance?

It might take you a moment to adapt to the custom Sherwin-Williams paint job, but the attractive Roush body kit R6 Body Kit—featuring Aero Pockets, Driving Lamps, a High-Flow Lower Grille, a Front Chin Splitter, Rocker Splitters, a Rear Aero Valance, a Rear Decklid Spoiler, and Rear Quarter Window Louvers—is an easy sell.

Known as the Mean Green Machine, this 2013 Roush Phase 3 Mustang debuted at the SEMA show in 2013 to promote the company’s Phase 3 supercharger upgrades for which it served as the development platform. Then it starred as a test vehicle for number media test-drive reports. So, not only is the car fast, it has a bit of fame under its blower belt.

One of the most powerful Roush Mustangs ever built, the Mean Green Machine features a Roush-supercharged Coyote based on Ford Racing’s robust Aluminator crate engine. Its TVS supercharger is custom painted to match the green exterior accents. It is controlled by a custom Roush engine calibration.

During that time your author was able to drive the Mean Green Machine. At first, I found the color scheme a little bold. Yet, after driving it for a short period of time, I grew to enjoy its attention-grabbing personality. However, that opinion might have been brought along by the experience of driving this truly fast ride.

The Phase 3 Mustang is the kind of performance Mustang you’d want to build for yourself. It has a stout engine, big boost, and the handling and braking to make the most of its power. Better yet, it was tough enough to survive a gauntlet of automotive writers before staring in a really unique video. In this clip, Formula Drift star Justin Pawlak wheels it around the Petersen Automotive Museum parking garage in Los Angeles, California, and the Mean Green Machine puts on quite a show:

If you win this rare Roush, your friends will be green with envy. You have until Halloween to register for the contest, but why wait? Click this link and register now. You have nothing to lose and 700 horsepower to gain!

Out back you can see the Roush Square Tip Exhaust Kit and “R” Faux Gas Cap Badge. With 700 horsepower of TVS-boosted Coyote roaring out of these tips this car looks the part, drives the part, and sounds the part.

Those handsome black hoops are Roush 20-inchers with Cooper RS3-S Tires. They frame a custom-painted Roush Competition Brake Package with slotted and vented 14-inch rotors in front and 11.8-inch rotors in pack. It features six-piston calipers up front. A tuned suspension—made up of Roush dampers, Roush springs, a Roush sway bar, and more—sets the stance.
