If you live in the Northeast or are up for a road trip to a cool event, mark your calendars for June 27, 2015. That’s the day our friends at Juggernaut Power will host a one-day car show and track event at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park in Thompson, Connecticut.

For the full details on the event, you can head over to the company’s web site at JuggernautPower.com, but here’s a look at the official event flyer.

For those that want to display their vehicles, the car show will include judged classes offering trophies in the following categories: OEM, Modified, People’s Choice, Best Paint, and Juggernaut Power Show King. All first place winners will get a free photo of their cars, and all participants can sign up for a photo session.

The track day will feature run groups for drivers of various capabilities, including those with zero track experience. The other groups cater to those with a bit of track experience and seasoned road racers. No matter what class you run, there promises to be plenty of track time, as the track will be hot from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. with an hour break for lunch.

Even if you don’t want to drive on the track, you can get some laps in the passenger seat, as Juggernaut Power will offer rides in some of its project vehicles driven by experienced drivers. Anyone 18 and older can sign up for one of theses thrill rides.

So, if it sounds like a fun day to you, click over and register for the event. We plan to share some post-event coverage right here on the Front Page of SVTP, so stay tuned.

A relatively new facility, Thompson Speedway looks like a great venue for an event combining a car show and a track day. There’s even a full restaurant on hand so you can grab a bite between activities
