Ford​ videos promise legendary Shelby GT350 performance

Ford Performance recently released a new video featuring some development and testing footage of the forthcoming Shelby GT350. We get to see and hear the car in action, which is pretty exciting. However, we also get to hear from Vehicle Dynamics Supervisor/Suspension Technical Specialist Eric Zinkosky about the car’s performance potential.
“This car will want for nothing in anyone’s eyes in terms of its capabilities,” Eric said. “We have a have a brand-new powertrain, a brand-new concept. (It is) lightweight, nimble, fast, (and) responsive.”
That’s a bold statement about the new car’s performance, but he didn’t stop there.
“It will be a Mustang. Mustang has a character and Mustang is fundamentally American, and Carroll Shelby was a big part of that,” he added. “I think Carroll would have been extremely excited about what’s going on here. He saw little bits of it before he passed. He knew where we were headed with this, and he has been a part of the plan.”
