Chip Foose revealed the MMD by Foose Mustang today and you could win it

Last year Modern Muscle Design gave away a customized 2014 Mustang at the massive AmericanMuscle.com car show at Maple Grove Raceway. This year the company is in a giving mood again, and the prize awarded at this year’s AM show on August 15 was revealed today by Chip Foose at the Foose Design headquarters in Huntington Beach, California. It is a one-of-a-kind, 810-horsepower MMD by Foose 2015 Mustang GT!

Based on a sketch that Chip created a few months ago, the crew at MMD used modern sculpting and prototyping tools to bring his design to life in the form of eight new body components. Among the MMD parts seen on the MMD by Foose Mustang are a Chin Splitter, a Hood Scoop, Rocker Panels, Side Scoops, Quarter Window Louvers, and a Rear Spoiler. Created to blend right in with the factory body lines, these parts and pieces will be available for sale exclusively through AmericanMuscle.com this fall.

“I am so excited about the parts that MMD and I have been working on for the 2015 Mustang. They really enhance the factory styling while keeping that classic Mustang look,” Chip Foose said. “We started by looking at the factory design language of the car itself and I really wanted to translate that into all of the parts that I designed. I didn’t want them to look like an afterthought or obviously an aftermarket part, but something you could get right from the factory.”

Of course, the MMD by Foose Mustang has plenty of go to back up all that show. It puts down over 650 to the Pirelli tires thanks to a Bama Performance-tuned version of Whipple Superchargers’ celebrated 2.9-liter, twin-screw supercharger system. Other performance enhancements include a Magnaflow Competition cat-back exhaust, a carbon-fiber driveshaft from The DriveShaft Shop, and a Vogtland Sport Suspension.
