A look at the creation of MMD’s Chip Foose-designed sweepstakes ’Stang

Back in May, Chip Foose and Modern Muscle Design took the wraps off their collaboration at his design studio in Huntington Beach, California. Dubbed the MMD by Foose Mustang, this 2015 Mustang not only served as the life-size design model for a new series of MMD by Foose body parts, but it became a one-of-a-kind Mustang that will be given to a lucky person at the annual AmericanMuscle.com car show on August 15, 2015.
Chip and the MMD team worked on restyling and modding a 2015 Mustang to transform it into a car that would inspire the desire of Mustang enthusiasts. This process took months leading up to the car’s reveal, and the crew at AmericanMuscle condensed the process down to three video installments.
Kicking off the project, the MMD by Foose Mustang receives driveshaft and halfshaft upgrades from The Driveshaft Shop and a set of handling springs from Vogtland…
Moving onto the power mods, the crew at Bama Performance bolts on an extra 270 horsepower and 120 lb-ft of torque to the wheels with a Whipple 2.9-liter supercharger and a Magnaflow Competition cat-back exhaust…
In the final stage of the MMD by Foose build, the supercharged Mustang gets the full Foose body treatment and some custom stripes…
