As the Mustang starts to reach other parts of the world, Ford is expanding its marketing push for the car. One of the latest examples is an incredible interactive video that documents driver Paul Swift lapping the historic Silverstone racetrack in the United Kingdom.

In this interactive video, you can switch from views like this take at the front bumper to views shot from high above in a helicopter.

Not only does this video show you the car’s track position, rpm, and speed as it laps the course, but it allows the viewer to change vantage points from positions as disparate as the front bumper or an overhead helicopter.

“This video is a lot of fun, it makes you feel like you’re behind the wheel of a Mustang,” Tom Barnes, Mustang vehicle engineering manager, said. “You have complete control of your view as if you’re actually driving on the track.”

You can watch the fully interactive video right here…

And, even if your browser or device doesn’t support the 360-degree interactive video, you can watch Paul run Silverstone in this traditional YouTube vid…

That sort of action should get potential pony car buyers excited all over the world.
