You can now build and price a 2016 Shelby GT350 or GT350R online

If youâ€™ve been wondering what that Shelby GT350 is going to set you back, the Build & Price configurator is live on Fordâ€™s site. If you have been interested in this car, just wait until you experience it in person and then youâ€™ll be heading right over to this site anyway. It really is an incredible machine, and considering what you are getting, itâ€™s a pretty solid value for the money.

Start out by choosing your base packageâ€”either the GT350 or GT350R. You canâ€™t go wrong either way.

The base GT350 clocks in is at $47,795 before you start tacking on options. If you are gearing up for the road course, the Track Package will add on $6,500. However, if street cruising with all the toys is more your speed, the Technology package will add $7,500 to the tally. You canâ€™t have both though, so choose wisely. At least they both include Magnerideâ€¦

For those that want maximum performance, thereâ€™s the GT350R. If youâ€™ve been lusting after the lighter R-model and those super sexy carbon-fiber wheels, this package starts off at $62,195 before anything is added. Keep in mind that part of that weight reduction means no air conditioning, radio, or navigation. To get those niceties in an R-model, youâ€™ll need to select the Electronics Package, which seems cheaper than we expected at $3,000.

We opted for a base model with Triple Yellow paint, which carries a $495 tariff.
