If you have been following the story of Juggernaut Power and the company’s ambitious Track Vehicle Group since we broke the news of its mega-power tuner Mustang program, you know that the company’s president, Rey Rivera, has a passion for the Ford Mustang. While serving in the military, he dreamed of putting that passion into action by developing his own performance retailer—Juggernaut Power.

If you want to own one of the most powerful cars on the road with a warranty, you better meet with your banker and tell him you’ll give him a ride in Juggernaut Power’s Alpha Male when you take delivery. This turbocharged, 1,200-horsepower Mustang will start at $114,600. Options include custom pearl paint for $7,500 and a track tire package for $1,900.

To help promote that company, he put together a Vortech-supercharged 2015 Mustang for the 2014 Specialty Equipment Market Association show in Las Vegas, Nevada. Along the way he forged a relationship with Jon Bowen and the team at Bowen’s Ford Garage, a historic Ford dealership in Eastford, Connecticut. From that union spawned, Juggernaut’s Track Vehicle Group, which debuted several of its custom Mustangs at the 2015 SEMA show.

“…We were kind of shunned up in the back of South Hall because we were a new exhibitor, but it gave that much more element of surprise when people walked around the corner and saw the paint on the Alpha Male,” Rey said. “We didn’t get any negative feedback at all, especially on the drag car. It made Motor Trend’s Top 10 Fords list. We were very happy with the shock-and-awe factor the cars gave off.”

If a Vortech-supercharged Coyote gets your wheels turning, JP is offering its midrange RC2 and RC3 Mustangs starting at $58,963 and $69,021. These are available with a host of options, including leather Recaro seats, track tires, and a TVG track suspension.

With any luck you saw our coverage of the SEMA reveal of these cars, but if you aren’t familiar with Juggernaut Power packages, the company offers everything from a 550-horsepower EcoBoost Mustang to a street-legal Drag Pack to the top dog, 1,200-horsepower Alpha Male.

“We are focusing more on performance than aesthetics. We maintain a clean look but really focus on power and suspension, as well as reliability. If our team found a weak point, it is replaced with an upgraded version to maintain the rigors it may be put through,” Rey explained. “We don’t share many OEM components—like clutches and halfshafts—that the other guys do. We produce vehicles as they are ordered. As of now we have a pretty full schedule. We want to bring the S550 to the global super car market and be competitive. The Alpha Male is the car to do that.”

JP hasn’t forgotten about the EcoBoost platform either. The company’s entry-level Mustang is the RC1, which starts at $49,251. It too is available with a long list of options, including those spiffy leather Recaros.

“The RC line up will be more in line with the other tuner Mustang brands, but we have no problem claiming a higher quality product that is designed to perform where it is intended to do so—on the track and street,” he added. “These cars aren’t just pretty faces, they perform at a high level. If you are looking for a bunch of badges and body kits, look elsewhere. We build to excite the Blue Oval blood and those seeking the purity of performance.”

Today Juggernaut Power released the pricing structure for all of its vehicles, which range from around $50,000 for the EcoBoost RC1 to over $114,000 for the Alpha Male. Of course, even with a range of four performance Mustangs wasn’t quite enough. Soon the company will introduce a new road-racing version of the Alpha Male dubbed the J-code.

Those yearning for a street-legal, drag-oriented S550 can opt for the JP Drag Pack, which starts at $71,251.

“Stare into this red laser light, wait for the flash. You have never heard of a J-code,” Rey teased. “The J-Code will be released in the second quarter of 2016. Let’s just say, we will have competition-ready road course car that will be street legal with a full warranty.”

Yes. By placing an order with Juggernaut Power’s Track Vehicle Group and you’ll score a mega-power Mustang with a three-year, 36,000-mile warranty. That’s something we could have only dreamed back in the day, but now you can make it a reality by ordering one.

“Which vehicle model a customer selects will dictate the build time,” Rey said. “The Drag Pack and the Alpha Male are the more in-depth builds. With OEM paint the wait time is approximately two months. With our Pearl Luminescent paints the customer is looking at three months.”

Whichever model you might choose, these cars definitely sound like they are worth the wait!
