What can be said about an MGW Shifter that hasn’t already been said hundreds of times before. They are superbly designed and expertly constructed. These units also operate flawlessly and are backed by some of the best customer service in the industry. All that and more is true for the company’s latest offering, a complete replacement shifter for Ford Performance’s new Shelby GT350 Mustang.

Like MGW's Gen 2 GT500 shifter, the TR-3160 unit retains the use of the factory body mount location for the rear support block. Also like the Gen 2, the rear support is merely there to keep the shifter from coming in contact with the driveshaft.

To put it simply, this product is the best shifter to ever to come out of MGW.

Now before you say that this is all just puffery and bullshit, let me qualify that statement. I actually believe that the MGW Race-Spec for the MT-82 is the most complete and biggest shifter upgrade available in the Mustang aftermarket. However, the MT-82 is a box of Chinese pot metal compared with the Pride of Mexico—The Tremec TR-3160.
