Our adage when it comes to project cars is that they are never finished until you sell them. As long as you own one you will have plans to tweak this or add that. However, when you decide it’s time to move on the only way to close the door is to pass the torch on to someone else. That’s exactly what Lethal Performance is doing with its 2015 EcoBoost Mustang, which is now on the auction block to make room for some exciting new project cars.

Lethal Performance’s 2015 EcoBoost Mustang is currently up for auction with a Buy It Now price of $30,000. The auction ends on Monday, so place those bids if you are interested.

“The time has come for us to sell our 2015 Mustang EcoBoost Premium. This car is a blast to drive, whether around town or on the track,” says the company. “Not only that, it’s faster than your average street car. We ran an 11.1 at 125 with room to spare at the track. On the rollers, this car made 551 horsepower and 569 lb-ft of torque.”

If this sounds like the kind of car you’d like to own, but you want more background on the project, SVTP offered extensive coverage of this car. We began by covering the car’s intercooler upgrade before moving on with stories on its turbocharger upgrade, fuel system enhancements and track-prep modifications. It’s definitely a quick car that will surprise more than a few V8-powered Mustangs.
