In the hyper-competitive world of aftermarket horsepower building, it’s all about the numbers. To show off the capabilities of its supercharger systems, Roush Performance recently released a video of a tuned-up Phase 1-supercharged 2015 Mustang, and the results were downright impressive.

The Roush Performance Phase 1 supercharger kit is not that far removed from the system the company employs on its Stage 3 Mustangs. For this test Roush engineers added a 75mm pulley, larger fuel injectors, a new fuel pump, and a revised calibration. To our eyes it appears the car is also running a slightly different air box from the sealed unit you see here on the Stage 3 car.

“Our development team has been busy at work finalizing our Phase 2 and Phase 3 kits for the 2015 Mustang,” the company said of its video. “Attached is a recent dyno run for a development vehicle showing rear wheel horsepower with a stock engine and our phase 1 Supercharger kit hardware plus the following upgrades: 75mm supercharger pulley, upgraded fuel injectors, revised version of our 2011-2014 fuel pump booster kit, and minor calibration enhancements.

The car made three back-to-back pulls over 700 rear-wheel horsepower, with the best pull approaching 750 at the feet! Check out the dyno runs here…

“Testing was done using 93 octane, stock manifolds, and stock catalytic converters,” the company added. “As you can see, with some small modification to our Phase 1 hardware, our 2.3-liter supercharger kit is more than capable of making in excess of 800 horsepower at the crank. Stay tuned for more on our Phase 2 and Phase 3 kits coming soon!”

We are certainly excited to see how much more power they can wring out of this system with the upper-level Phase kits!
