We all know that 2015 Mustang owners are going to want mods as soon as the cars hit the streets, and the aftermarket has been hard at work developing gear for the S550. Naturally, a throatier, freer-flowing exhaust will be near the top of most S550 owners’ wish lists. To that end, the exhaust experts at Magnaflow developed a bevy of  exhaust products for the new Mustang.

Magnaflow announced that its 2015 Mustang cat-back exhaust systems are available for pre-order for $1,199.
Magnaflow announced that its 2015 Mustang cat-back exhaust systems are available for pre-order for $1,199.

First out of the gate from the company will be full cat-back systems that replace the factory post-cat piping, resonator, and mufflers. Built from 100-percent stainless-steel piping, these 3-inch mandrel-bent systems feature polished, 4.5-inch tips. Available in both Street and Competition versions, the former features the company’s quieter mufflers, which keep the exhaust sounds below 95 decibels, while the latter takes the sound levels up.

At the moment, there are no performance specs available, but the company’s S197 systems promised gains of over 12 horsepower, so it would be safe to assume the S550 systems will offer gains in that ball park.

The cat-backs are available for pre-order now from Magnaflow retailers, with the retail price clocking in at $1,199. If you do pre-order, you’ll score a free Magnaflow hat (while supplies last). These systems should be available in the next month days.

As you can see, Magnaflow will offer a variety of axle- and cat-back exhaust systems for V6-, EcoBoost-, and Coyote-powered 2015 Mustangs.

In the near future, Magnaflow will also offer axle-back kits for those just looking to add mufflers. Currently there isn’t much information on the axle-back systems, but it would be safe to assume they will cost less than the full cat-back systems.

Perhaps the best news from Magnaflow is the company will offer axle- and cat-backs for all flavors of 2015 Mustang—V6, EcoBoost, and GT.

If you don’t want to wake the whole neighborhood, Magnaflow’s Street system is your likely choice. This system keeps the exhaust growl below 95 decibels.

If you really want your Mustang to announce its presence, the Competition system is your move. It takes the exhaust volume past 95 db.
