Forza Motorsport 6 gives us a behind-the-scenes look at Ford GT development

If the latest version of the Ford GT doesn’t get your heart pumping, you might need to check your status as an auto enthusiast. This car stole the show at the North American International Auto Show earlier this month. Now, thanks to the video game maker that chose the GT for its cover, we get a look inside the design and development of the next Ford super car.

You really have to applaud the efforts of the Ford designers and engineers for developing this stunning vehicle in secret to surprise the world at NAIAS. Hidden away in a basement, they developed a car that pushes Ford’s racing heritage into the future.

Thanks to Microsoft, the maker of Forza Motorsport 6 for Xbox—which features the new Ford GT on its cover—we get a peek into that development…

Now, we might not ever get to own one of these, but at least we’ll all have the chance to virtually drive one in the game.
