Event: Ultimate SVT Gathering at #PITS2018

Fall In

All SVT vehicles under one roof.

Just ask anyone in attendance, the first annual Ponies in the Smokies (“PITS”) show in Sevierville, TN was a resounding success.  Jeff, Travis, KB, Troy, and the rest of the crew really knocked this one out of the park.  SVTP was honored to be a part of the inaugural show.  It was a fantastic first outing and we were left anxious to start strategizing for next year.

Jonathan Catapano’s highly modified 1998 Cobra drove off with the SVTPerformance.com Editor’s Choice Award @ #PITS2017.

Incidentally, now it’s time to start putting plans into action for #PITS2018 and SVTP has something very special in store.  Last year PITS tried to showcase one of ever model-year Mustang produced.  Taking that idea, and improving upon it, SVTP has decided to assemble one of every SVT ever made (with a few other special guests thrown in for good measure).  From the 1993 SVT Mustang Cobra to the latest High-Po offering from Ford Performance we are going to attempt to gather them all, and we’re going to need your help.

This is a current list of the vehicles we are going to try to assemble, along with ones that have all ready committed to attend.

  • 1993 SVT Mustang Cobra
  • 1993 SVT Mustang Cobra R
  • 1994-95 SVT Mustang Cobra
  • 1995 SVT Mustang Cobra R
  • 1996-98 SVT Mustang Cobra
  • 1999-01 SVT Mustang Cobra
  • 2000 SVT Mustang Cobra R
  • 2003-04 SVT Mustang Cobra
  • 2007-12 SVT Shelby Mustang GT500
  • 2013-14 SVT Shelby Mustang GT500
  • 2015-18 Shelby Mustang GT350
  • 2015-18 Shelby Mustang GT350 R
  • 1993-95 SVT F-150 Lightning
  • 1999-04 SVT F-150 Lightning – (SID297)
  • 1998-00 SVT Contour
  • 2002-04 SVT Focus
  • 2010-14 SVT F-150 Raptor
  • 2017-18 SVT F-150 Raptor
  • 2005-06 Ford GT
  • 2017-18 Ford GT

As you can see, it’s a pretty extensive order we’re trying to fill (let me know if I missed anything).  If you’re planning on attending #PITS2018 and have a prime example of one of the vehicles listed above please let us know.  We prefer clean “stock’ish” cars, but we understand that a lot of these rides may be ‘well loved’.  The important thing is for us to make sure that we complete the field.  You can volunteer (and get more details about the show) by posting a message in the Official Discussion Thread  Linked Below, or by emailing us through this link: Contact Us Link.  Please include #PITS2018 and the vehicle you want to bring in the subject line.  Until then, we’ll look forward to seeing you in the mountains.
